Since I started taking DIM in the beginning of this month my skin has been a little strange. It is basically going from oily to dehydrated to sensitive and dry. I like to exfoliate in the evening but I always try to not overdo it. I cannot handle products with too many ingredients (as many ingredients irritate my skin). So I try to be very specific about the ingredients that I want to use and choose the correctly formulated products which contain these (and not too much more). I don't like to throw in useless extra steps if I cannot see a difference.
My morning routine is still under construction - I bought a few new items and trying to integrate them at the moment.
So here is my evening skincare products:
I have tried two different Vitamin C serums by the brand Nufountain. The second one called C15 Celsignal has a ph of 5.5, so it is not acidic - not using L-Ascorbic acid but MAP (magnesium ascorbyl phosphate). I thought the serum has gone bad because the color was weird but then I found these photos on Taobao:
I went to Muji today and I was thinking "Damn, why is everything so overpriced here. The quality is just mediocre... I mean, just because it's a brand..." And when I walked out I somehow passed by MINISO. And that is the result:
I was a bit scared of trying a "sour" vitamin c serum again because of two reasons. 1. It burns upon application (acidic ph), kind of feels like I am putting lemon juice on my skin. 2. It oxidizes before I even used 1/3 of the product (after 3 weeks or so).
Now I have just started using this Timeless 20% C + E + Ferulic Acid Serum and I have seen IMMEDIATE RESULTS. And that is exactly what I look for in skincare.
Recently I bought these two sunscreens for my husband and myself. I am not a big fan of the majority of Biore sunscreens, since they contain so much alcohol and feel a bit drying. These sunscreen milks here are produced in China - usually a lot of the Biore sunscreens sold here are imported, therefore the packaging is Japanese.
